They seek to better understand the causes of Alzheimer's disease and dementia with Lewy bodies as well as other causes of dementia. This team conducts clinical trials and research funded by the National Institute on Aging and the Texas Alzheimer’s Research and Care Consortium to test new treatments and methods to more accurately diagnose the different causes of dementia. Our behavioral neurology section provides clinical evaluations and care for patients with memory concerns.
